Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wakatipu Pottery Club. We are a community based club operating on sharing resources and knowledge for all levels of cross pollination.

We love new members of all levels of experience and passion. Please visit us on one of our club nights if you would like to find out more about how we operate or whether pottery is going to inspire your muses.

Club Night

Club nights

Run on Wednesdays 6- 8 pm in the Art Society Building.

Please note, they are not classes. They are run on a voluntary basis by the members and don’t include lessons. We all have different skills and can give guidance according to our knowledge. The nights are designed to give you a taste of the club, how it operates and what's available as well as for you to have a go a pottery, no matter what your level of experience. You can come and have a play, see what everyone else is doing or try out some new things (youtube is a great resource for instruction)

Club night visits require a Gold Coin donation to cover the clay used (the club provides clay).
Non members need to prepay for firing if you want any items fired; a minimum of $2 per piece, and dependent upon the size/ volume it takes in the kiln.
